Brooke Higginbotham
Director
Brooke Higginbotham
I am Brooke. My husband and I have been in Ogden since 2017, and although I originally grew up in St. Joseph, I was already familiar with this area and loved the close-knit feel of the community. We are now raising our two children here, and it was their love of reading that first brought our family into the library. After spending time in the space, I quickly grew to love it myself.
I’m grateful to live in a community with such a wonderful resource for children and families. When I became Director, my goal was to expand our STEM offerings while continuing to build a well-rounded library that serves people of all ages. I want our library to feel like the community’s living room—a welcoming place where everyone belongs.

I am proud to have been able to serve our veterans by ensuring accurate and secure patient health data for 36 years, retiring in 2021. I enjoy volunteering within the community, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and reading. I love working at the library, interacting with our library patrons, and performing the day-to-day operations to have the library ready for you!

Tom Wing
Born and raised in the Midwest. Oldest child of 7 siblings. Married with 3 adult daughters and 1 adult son. Retired military after 36 years; last duty station was as commander of the 182nd Medical Squadron attached to the 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL. Also retired from the Veterans Administration, where I was a surgical PA. I actively chose to live in the Midwest because my experience is that the people of the Midwest are the hardest working, most generous, REAL people I have encountered. I choose Ogden because you are those people!! My wife and I are honored and proud to be a part of your community. I look forward to helping you at the library.

My daughter goes to the library often for tutoring or to meet up with friends. I have utilized this library since I was young. I even have the handprint right outside the library to prove it. Pam Guess

Pam Guess
I am Pam Guess, an Ogden resident since 1988. I am married with two grown children that were raised in Ogden and actively used our library. I am a retired Registered Nurse. The library is a great community resource for children and adults in the Ogden area. I enjoy giving back to our library through volunteer activities. One of my favorite activities has always been reading, since I was a child and now as an older adult. The written word opens up so many opportunities for learning, exploring our world, and enlightening one's life.
